Introduction:

Most who come here will already know at least a little about me. If not, I’ll introduce myself. I go by the name David Harper, I’m an Aussie Jedi and student here at Ashla Knights. I’ve been studying Jedi related philosophy for not much more than a year, making me quite new on most sites. I’d never been one for conventional religion, mostly because the stories and other such things made no sense to me. So then, why would I be interested in the Jedi, a fictional group? Well as you would most likely know, the ideas and principles of the Jedi were based on historical beliefs and codes, mostly Eastern philosophy. The idea of the Force also fit in with science’s quantum theory [yes, it may be a theory, but then so is gravity!] which gives it, in my mind, more credibility. So here I am, most generously given my own holocron by Master Thompson. I would like to tell you more of my “aspects of study,” as I guess they would be called.

I am, by “traditional” [fictional] Jedi classification a Consular. If you want a definition just Google “Jedi Consular”. I’m very much a deep thinker, which I think is one of the main reasons I chose that classification. My studies are not so much focused around theorizing about the ideal duties etc of a Jedi, however, I’m more of a “do-er” in that respect. My weekly post (most likely updated Monday or Tuesday due to my work schedule) will mostly be about something that has either happened to me during the week, or something I have spent some time considering during the week [and of course, learnt from].

I hope my holocron informs you.
