Academic Honor Code

"The Ashla student will not deceive, manipulate or take from others nor will he or she condone those who do. At all times, the Ashla student rises to the highest standard of conduct becoming an Ashla Knight and behaves in a manner that brings honor and respect to one's self, fellow students, instructors and to the Order of Ashla Knights."

Why the students honor code?

Without pride, passion or prejudice, the mission of an Ashla Knight is one of charity and service.  It is a mission of understanding and acceptance, compassion and mercy and of peace and justice.  Words like leadership, integrity, honor and commitment are but a few that describe the ideals a Knight lives by as he or she is trying aid others and provide comfort, or when in the champion of what is right and just. 

In today’s culture, integrity of moral character is paramount to a Knight.  The Ashla Knights Academic Honor code introduces the student to these and other basic tenets that comprise our ideology and philosophy.  Representing an appropriate and fundamental standard of behavior and conduct becoming, the academic honor code sets the standard for all Ashla Knights students and again, prepares them for life path they will follow and the missions they will be charged to carry out.

To walk the path of an Ashla Knight and to execute the mission of Ashla Knights, one’s heart must be of deepest commitment and one’s mind of absolute focus.  The Ashla Knights Academic Honor Code acclimates the student to such a standard of commitment and focus.
